Harpist Melissa Gallant performs and teaches in the Indianapolis area. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University where she studied with Susann McDonald, and a master’s degree from Butler University. Melissa performs in schools and community settings through the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Young Audiences of Indiana and as a guest performer with the members of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.  She also performs frequently with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, the Fishers Chamber Orchestra, and the Indiana Wind Symphony.  Melissa was a 2003-04 recipient of a Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis.
